Rebecca graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2013. She continued with 110 hour Lymphatic Drainage program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2015. Her appreciation of the nervous system as well as general anatomy and physiology had originally brought her to the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her a Bachelor of Science in 2003. She has also studied nutrition and herbal medicine at the California School of Herbal Studies 2007. Most recently, she has completed Pilates Mat instructor training through Balanced Body in 2017. Her education and personal strength training will continue with advanced Pilates instructor courses.
Through her education, work experience in wellness centers and receiving extensive bodywork, she has witnessed countless examples of the body’s innate healing capabilities. Her love of massage therapy is influenced by an appreciation of the power of holistic care to bring ease to both the mind and body.
Rebecca creates an individualized experience for each client. As a therapist, it is her goal to help you gain awareness of your body and help facilitate a state of true balance. Helping clients regain functionality through Deep Tissue massage, Joint Range of Motion and Myofascial techniques is a major focus for her. When the body seeks a more subtle approach to healing and release, she enjoys the powerful effects of light touch with Lymphatic Drainage massage.
