Relaxation Massage

Schedule a Relaxation Massage.
Relaxation massage, often referred to as Swedish massage, encompasses many techniques that provide general, systemic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body (muscles, ligaments and tendons) to induce a state of deep relaxation. It is the most requested treatment at many clinics because it addresses a broad range of concerns for most people. From the stiffness you feel in your neck from hunching over a computer screen all day or the overall tightness and anxiety you feel from balancing the expectations of work, family and simply living. The ultimate goal of a relaxation massage is to relax the entire body by increasing circulation of blood and oxygen, while decreasing any muscle toxins or tension. A common misperception is that a relaxing massage does not involve deep tissue work. However, many therapists will apply deep tissue techniques to address knots or adhesions found in the body to facilitate the release and relaxation of the muscles or connective tissue.
Relaxation massage utilizes five main techniques
