Rebecca G, Licensed Massage Therapist

Rebecca’s appreciation of the nervous system as well as general anatomy and physiology originally brought her to the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Bachelor of Science in 2003. Following her fascination with the natural world, she completed courses in nutrition and herbal medicine at the California School of Herbal Studies in 2008.
Rebecca graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2013 with intensive training in Structural Integration and functional design posture. She progressed into subtle modalities by becoming certified in the 110 hour Lymphatic Drainage Massage program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2015. She became a Reiki practitioner in the same year. Her education and personal strength training continued by achieving ACE Personal Trainer certification in 2017 and completing the Pilates Mat Instructor program through Balanced Body in 2018.
In 2023, Rebecca became a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu ® practitioner. Jin Shin Jyutsu utilizes light touch on specific areas of the body to harmonize the flow of life energy, similar to acupressure. It can help revitalize homeostasis to the whole body, increasing vitality and well-being.
Through her education and experience, Rebecca has witnessed countless examples of the body’s innate healing capabilities and the power of holistic care to bring ease to the mind and body. Helping clients regain functionality and true balance through Propreoceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, myofascial release and trigger point therapy are major focuses for her. When the body seeks a subtle approach to healing and release, she enjoys the powerful effects of Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu.
