How much time is spent on your actual massage when you schedule a 1 Hour Massage? At The Wellness Center, it’s a full 60 minutes. At the massage franchises, it’s only 50 minutes. What?! We don’t believe in rounding up. We believe in honesty and transparency.
Want to check in with your massage therapist before the session begins? We think you should be able to do so without having it deducted from your time on the table. At the franchises, every minute you spend explaining your injury, pain point or goals to your massage therapist is a minute you lose on bodywork.

Want to have your therapist be present and grounded for your session? We do too! At the franchises, 10 minutes of your 1 hour massage is allocated to preparing the room for the appointment after yours. This leaves you with just 45-50 minutes of hands-on bodywork time.
At The Wellness Center, we give our therapists time between appointments to clean the room and re-ground themselves to be present for your session. This ensures you get a full 60 minutes of hands-on bodywork.
When you book a 1 hour massage, we give you a 1 hour massage. Just make sure you arrive on time!
