The Wellness Center re-opened on Saturday, May 9th 2020 and we are committed to providing a safe space for clients to come in and receive services, and also a safe space for our staff and practitioners to provide these services.  Based on Occupational Safety Health Act (OSHA) standards and guidelines from the ABMP, our practitioners and clients are at a medium risk of exposure to COVID-19 since our practitioners will be in frequent and/or close contact with (i.e., within 6 feet of) other people who may be infected.

We are located in Arapahoe County and follow the guidelines provided by the Tri-State Health Department.  As of Friday, November 13th, 2020 the county moved on COVID dial to the Orange Level and we moved from a 50% capacity to a 25% capacity.  On November 20th 2020 Arapahoe County moved to the Red Level on the COVID dial.  We remained open at a 25% capacity as we are a “limited health care facility.”  On May 16 2021, Arapahoe county moved to Level Clear, entering the Phase 2 Observation Period of the Public Health Order Simplified COVID-19 Dial issued in April.  Under Level Clear, Arapahoe county has entered a 90-day Observation Period during which businesses, schools, restaurants and other facilities are able to operate at 100 percent capacity.

Prevention Measures

  • Our Mask Policy as of August 13th, 2021:  ALL clients, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask at all times inside of The Wellness Center, including while receiving treatments. It can be a homemade face mask.  If you arrive without one, we will provide you with one.  If you have any apprehensions with wearing a mask for the entire duration of your visit with us, we ask that you do not come in for services and we reserve the right to decline providing services to any client if they pose a health risk to our staff and practitioners.  Our staff and practitioners continue to wear masks during their time inside the center.
  • If any client exhibits flu-like symptoms (runny nose, cough, fever), you will be asked to leave and not return until they are symptom free for 14 days.
  • I know you will be excited to see your therapist or practitioner, please keep talking and socializing to a minimum, since COVID is spread through droplets, increased and prolong talking can put your therapist at risk, even if you are wearing a mask.
  • You will be asked to sign an additional COVID-19 liability waiver (this will be emailed in advance), click here to read and sign.
  • Based on State’s COVID dial  The Wellness Center currently runs at a 100% capacity, we are located in Arapahoe County, and follow their guidelines.
  • All appointments as best as possible will be booked on staggered times to minimize the overlap of incoming and outgoing clients. With medium exposure level to COVID-19, we recommend that any high risk individuals consider refraining from practicing and receiving services until their risk level is minimized.

Upgrades to the space to increase safety

  • The Wellness Center has added 2 Beyond Guardian Air units in the community units in our space, one at the front area and another in the back.  These units use ActivePure technology that uses oxygen and humidity from the air and converts them into powerful oxidizers, which helps control contaminants and has a UV germicidal lamp that kills bacteria and germs.   We have also added UV germicidal air purifiers to each of the treatment rooms.
  • Our HVAC system circulates fresh air from the outside into each treatment room, about 25% fresh air is mixed with the existing room air, and there is a constant airflow in all of the rooms.
  • The rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each client with a disinfectant cleanser approved by the FDA to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
