Snow is on the ground and the sun is shining, one of the things that I love about Colorado are the four seasons. I am so grateful to be living in such a beautiful state
Take a moment and notice what you are grateful for right now.
Our monthly wellness theme is Gratitude. This month I have such a deep sense of gratitude for each and every one of you. I am amazed by how dedicated you are to living a life of good health and wellness. People like you inspire me every day to be the best self that I can be. It takes work to be your best self, as it is all too easy to get lost in the busyness and stress of day to day life.
Let me remind you, that according the American Psychological Association, chronic stress is linked to the six leading causes of death, including heart disease and cancer. And more than 75% of all doctor visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints.
When you are feeling lazy about taking your supplements, eating a healthy meal, going to yoga or meditation class, going in for a massage etc. Remind yourself that all of these actions are contributing to your greater health and well-being. Life is not a race to the finish line, but ultimately a slow and steady stride. If we take some today to invest in ourself, it will pay us back in dividends in the future.
Your future self thanks you.
Wishing you and your family a safe, healthy and joyous Thanksgiving.
In Health,
