Can you believe it is already time for the kids to go back to school? My daughter Maya is now 3 years old and will be starting at the International School of Denver in a week and it feels bittersweet. I know growing older is part of life, but she still feels so small and tiny.
I have been trying to savor this summer with her and to really stay in the present when I am with her. I think this is one of the blessings about having children when you are a bit older, you are less distracted by other projects, travel, work, being social etc. For me many of those things have fallen by the wayside and spending time with my daughter and taking care of myself and my family is the main thing on my priority list.
Life is full of transitions. At the center there have been transitions into new schedules for the fall, and new faces (Dr. Julia Fischel and Srebrina, C.M.T) to the center. While sometimes I would prefer that things stay the same. I know that is not reality, when it comes to life, and a business like The Wellness Center. Change is inevitable and constant.
