Sometimes you just have one of those weeks, months… where taking your vitamins feels like a big chore.
I notice that when I stop taking time to take my daily vitamins, it means that I have gotten too busy for self-care. When I don’t even have a few minutes in the morning to take my vitamins, which if you don’t take daily vitamins I would highly recommend them. They are not magic pills but will definitely ensure that you give your body the key nutrients it might be missing.
I know our lives get super busy, and everyone else’s needs get put first before ours. Our society demands, values and encourages that we keep ourselves busy and “connected.” I only encourage you to do something for yourself every day that tells your body, “I care about you.” For me it is simply taking my daily vitamins. When that drops off, I know it is time to slow down and take a little more time for me.
Not sure what your body is deficient in? We have a wonderful blood test through Spectracell Laboratories that will test your micronutrient levels. For me I found out I was severely deficient in Vitamin D. It is well worth the small investment to know where your body is at, so you don’t waste money and time taking supplements that you don’t need.
