How is the New Year going so far? Getting back into the swing of work and life? It is always hard re-entering our “normal” hectic lives when we have spent some time off. I know from personal experience. The one thing that helps me re-enter life is reminding myself how grateful I am for the work I do at The Wellness Center and the blessings that have been bestowed upon us.
Gratitude helps me to counter balance the day to day frustrations that I may feel, when dealing with all the details of life and running a business. This month I am feeling particularly grateful about my health and well-being as I move into the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy.
We all take our health for granted, until it is taken away. Our mission at The Wellness Center is to empower and encourage everyone to take control of their health and well-being. Rather than wait until you get sick, tired or run down. Invest in your health every day. Take your vitamins, eat nutritiously, drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep and don’t over extend yourself. All of these things are basic to human health, and are hard for many Americans to embrace as it is not the cultural norm.
Start where you are at. Be gentle with yourself as change is not easy. Know there are many others on this same path to health and wellness and that The Wellness Center is here to support you through your journey.
Wishing you great health and wellness in 2012.
Sincerely,

Sharon Hwang Kelman
