It is that time of year again, the time that we all start thinking about changes we can make that will improve and better our lives in the New Year.

This year I challenge you to commit to a couple of lifetime value activities. What is a lifetime value activity? These are activities that you do on a consistent basis that don’t necessarily provide immediate gratification or results, but done over a time provide long term value in your health and well-being.

Some examples of lifetime value activities:

1) Taking your vitamins

2) Visiting the Doctor and the Dentist every year

3) Working out

4) Taking time to nurture your relationships with your friends, family and spouse

5) Volunteering your time

6) Becoming active in a local cause you are passionate about

7) Reducing your daily stress level, through yoga, meditation, journaling etc.

8) Getting plenty of sleep each evening (8-9 hours)

9) Eating healthy and making good choices for your body

Decide which lifetime value activities you are going to commit to this year and the next time you are feeling like not doing this activity or investing the money, tell yourself this is a lifetime value activity. You may not feel the immediate results, but over time your life will be enriched.

Celebrating your health and well-being.

Happy New Year!
