Lauren Witmer, CMT
Lauren graduated with an AS degree in Massage Therapy from the New York College of Health Professions in 2012 after her father was diagnosed with cancer. She had experience in mental and behavioral health field before that and coupled the two for a few years before moving solely into massage therapy upon discovering the ability of massage to benefit everyone due to the intentional touch and the body’s innate ability to heal. Lauren moved to Colorado in 2014 and made her way to The Wellness Center in 2017.
Lauren incorporates energy work into each session whether the focus be sports massage, therapeutic massage, hot stone or a relaxing Swedish session. She feels the energy work helps to relax the body and mind, allowing the client to more fully experience the benefits of the treatment. She facilitates medium-deep work and loves working on specific issues or injuries with head, neck, back, hips, gluts as her specialty.
